Corey Clifton was named to the NEHC Honor Roll as announced by the New England Hockey Conference league office on Monday morning.

Senior goalie
Sam Best turned in an impressive performance in the 57th Annual Codfish Bowl Tournament on Thursday and Friday. Best led his team to a first-round win in the tournament, stopping 18 of 19 shots that he faced in a 4-1 win over Fitchburg State which allowed the Beacons to move on to the Codfish Bowl Championship Game against Albertus Magnus College. Against Albertus Magnus, Best made 35 saves on 36 shot attempts, including key saves during a 5-on-3 penalty kill to help UMass Boston capture their seventh Codfish Bowl title and second time doing so in back-to-back years.

th Annual Codfish Bowl for UMass Boston last week. Manzo recorded four assists, one on all four of the Beacons' goals, in the Codfish Bowl Championship Game on Friday afternoon. The freshman was responsible for setting up junior forward
Corey Clifton on the first goal of the game while being the second assist on freshman forward
Grady Friedman's goal. Manzo closed his day with two faceoff wins that ended up on junior defender
Blake Colman's stick for the final two goals of the afternoon for UMass Boston who captured their seventh Codfish Bowl title over Albertus Magnus College, 4-1. Manzo also won 28 of the 37 faceoffs he took across the two games played.

Junior forward
Corey Clifton turned in his best week of the season for UMass Boston notching two goals and adding an assist during the 57
th Annual Codfish Bowl Championship. Clifton recorded a third-period power play goal against Fitchburg State in the Beacons' 4-1 win to advance to the championship game against Albertus Magnus on Friday. Against Albertus Magnus, Clifton notched the first goal of the game before adding an assist on the second goal of the game which helped UMass Boston win their seventh Codfish Bowl championship. The junior's two-game performance earned him Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
UMass Boston returns to the ice on Friday night as the Beacons will hit the road to take on Castleton University with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 PM.
