Box Score KEENE, N.H. – Sydney Johnson put-down a team-high 17 kills and hit .361 to lift Keene State College to a 3-1 Little East Conference win over volleyball Saturday afternoon at Spaulding Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Keene State jumped to a commanding lead in the first set and never looked back as they secured a 25-17 decision. The Beacons responded with an impressive comeback in the second frame as they took a 25-20 win to tie the match at 1-1.
From there it was a back-and-forth battle between the longtime rivals, with Keene State earned the advantage in the third (25-22), and in the fourth (25-23) to seal the conference win.
Livia Trindade led all players with a career-high 18 kills and .371 hitting percentage.
Taryn Broughal and
Dylan Wertzberger were just as solid scoring 11 and 10 kills respectively.
Amelia Devlin put-up 45 assists in the tough conference loss, and also had four of the Beacons 11 aces.
At the net the Beacons were impressive scoring one block solo and 8 block assists. Defensively, UMB had a trio finish in double-figures in digs led by
Ally Dean who had 18 put-ups. Devlin posted her second double-double of the year with 12 digs, while
McKayla Geraghty finished with 12 digs as well.
