After a deadlocked first period, UMass Boston outscored the Wildcats 3-0 in the second and 2-1 in the third to avoid their first two-game losing streak of the year.

The combination of Larkin, Lemire and DeAugustine pinned the Wildcats in their zone for close to a minute, as they tried to dissect the defense. Finally, Larkin lifted a rebound over Ballmer's shoulder, after Ballmer had disloged the net off it's moorings.
The first line tacked on another goal 50 seconds later, as Lemire found Larkin for a two-on-one and DeAugustine potted his third goal of the weekend off a great feed from Larkin.
