Beacons’ Robbins Signs with SPHL’s Huntsville Havoc

Huntsville, Alabama --- UMass Boston Senior Center Dylan Robbins officially signed a PTO (Professional Tryout) Contract with the SPHL's Huntsville Havoc. Robbins transferred to UMass Boston prior to the 2024-25 season following two seasons as a member of Sacred Heart's (NCAA DI) Hockey Program. In his 60 games with the Beacons, Robbins totaled 10 points (4 Goals, 6 Assists) and quickly developed into one of the team's key defensive forwards to go along with a career high 8 points this past season (4 Goals, 4 Assists).

Robbins' increased offensive production was one of the key factors in the Beacons' Little East Conference Semi-Final run. Robbins also scored a goal in the 60th Annual Codfish Bowl Championship Game against the Worcester State Lancers to help the Beacons claim their 1st Codfish Bowl since 2022 when the Beacons defeated Albertus Magnus 4-1.

"My time at UMass Boston was really special. I'm grateful to Coach Belisle, Coach Amonte, the support staff, and all of my teammates for the support and the memories we built together." Robbins said. "The experience I had here helped prepare me for this next step in my career, and I'll always be proud to have been part of the UMB hockey family."

Beaconville can catch Robbins on FloHockey as he, and the Havoc continue their SPHL playoff push tonight (March 6th) against Roanoke.
