2016 Put together a huge freshman season as the Beacons’ starting shortstop and a key middle-of-the-order bat … Named a Little East Conference All-Conference Second Team honoree … Earned Little East Conference Rookie of the Week honors on one occasion … Played in 40 of 41 contests and made 39 starts … Finished third on the team with 42 hits and a .344 batting average (42-122) … Ranked third on the team with 23 RBI … Tacked on 12 runs scored and one home run … Registered the second-most doubles in a single-season in program history with 12 … Walked eight times and struck out just three times … Stole two bases in four attempts … Posted a .388 on-base percentage and .464 slugging percentage … Recorded the second-most assists on the team with 75 … Finished with 48 putouts and nine errors for a .923 fielding percentage … Finished with 12 multi-hit games … Helped UMass Boston to their first three wins in program history against Eastern Connecticut State University, by going 9-10 with one run and six RBI … Made her collegiate debut in the Beacons’ season-opener against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and finished with one walk … Recorded her first two hits and a double in a 1-0 loss to MCLA on March 12 … Went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double in a 9-0 win over New England College on March 16 … Finished 2-for-3 with two runs, three RBI and a double in game two against Emmanuel College on March 26 … Put together a huge doubleheader on April 10 against Eastern Connecticut State University, by going 7-for-8 with three doubles and five RBI … Added four hits, five RBI and two runs scored in a doubleheader sweep over Rhode Island College on April 16 …Finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored, one RBI and one double in the Beacons’ playoff-clinching win over Plymouth State on April 30 … Blasted her first career home run, that ended up being the game-winning run, in a 3-1 win over Eastern Connecticut State in the Little East Conference Tournament.
