2016 Enjoyed a strong freshman campaign in the circle … Appeared in 21 total contests, including 16 appearances in the circle … Started in 15 of her 16 games as a pitcher … Posted an 8-8 record with a 4.39 ERA in 79.2 innings pitched … Threw eight complete games … Struck out 41 batters, while walking just 22 … Ranks tied for second in program-history with her three shutouts in a single-season … Allowed 121 hits, 65 runs and 50 earned runs … Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, with two putouts and 17 assists … Ended the year hitting 5-for-15 (.333) … Racked up one run, two RBI and one double … Earned a win in her first collegiate appearance, by allowing two earned runs and striking out five in five innings against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy … Threw a complete-game against Lasell College on March 15, allowing just nine hits and one earned run in a 6-3 win … Recorded her first collegiate shutout on March 24, when she allowed just five hits and one walk in a six-inning win against Bridgewater State … Limited Emmanuel College to just two hits and two walks in a five-inning shutout win on March 26 … Picked up her first conference win on April 10, by limiting Eastern Connecticut State University to three runs in four innings … Struck out a career-high six batters and allowed two earned runs in a 4-3 win over Curry College on April 14 … Posted her third and final shutout of the year on April 16, a five-inning, two-hitter against Rhode Island College … Came on in relief and earned the win against Plymouth State University in the Beacons’ playoff-clinching victory on April 30.
