(March 4, 2026) --- UMass Boston women's lacrosse (0-2) saw a historic outing from Teresa Sheedy (Quincy, Mass.), who set a new program record with seven caused turnovers and set a new a career high with seven ground balls, but the Beacons' comeback bid fell just short in a 12-11 loss to Emerson (3-0).
HOW IT HAPPENED

Key contributions from Emily Pearl (Orleans, Mass.) and Kheiara Vilus (Brockton, Mass.) helped the Beacons briefly go in front, but Emerson answered late to knot the score at 9-9 heading to the final period.

Despite a determined push and a fourth tally from Duffy, UMass Boston could not find the equalizer.
