Plymouth, NH (Apr. 5, 2025) --- The UMass Boston women's lacrosse team faced a tough challenge on the road, falling to Plymouth State 25-1. 

Jamie McAleavey (Quincy, Mass.) continued her strong season, scoring the Beacons' lone goal, her 16th of the year, with an unassisted effort in the first quarter. McAleavey also contributed defensively, recording two caused turnovers to bring her season total to 10. 

Seven different Beacons registered ground balls with Teresa Sheedy (Quincy, Mass.) leading the way with five, bringing her season total to 33. 

In goal, Elizabeth Crowley (Medfield, Mass.) and Emerson Homa (Gorham, ME) combined to make eight saves.
