Boston, Mass. (Dec. 13, 2025) — The UMass Boston Beacons suffered a 76–71 setback to the University of Maine at Fort Kent Bengals on Saturday morning. UMass Boston held a commanding 49–30 advantage at halftime, but a strong fourth-quarter surge by the visitors proved to be the difference.
Sabanna Berrios led all scorers with 19 points, while Jordis Tautalatasi added a career-high 17 points. Dejah Morris paced the Bengals with 16 points. Nine different Beacons contributed to the scoring effort.
The Beacons shot 75 percent from the free-throw line and were narrowly edged in field goal percentage, 40.6 percent to 39.1 percent. UMass Boston was also out-rebounded by a slim margin, 42–39, with Berrios leading the Beacons on the glass with nine rebounds.
