FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Tuesday night saw UMass Boston Women's Lacrosse run into a talented Framingham State University team on a seven game winning streak. The Rams took care of the Beacons 19-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nine Framingham State goals in the first quarter set the stage for the game on Tuesday. They slowed down the pace after the opening 15 minutes, scoring three goals each in the second and fourth and four in the third to total their 19 on the night. 

UMass Boston's best scoring chances came from Margeaux Butters, who fired four shots including two on goal but could not hit the back of the net.

• The Beacons secured 14 of their 23 draw controls, including a game-high seven from Angelina Mazzone
• UMass Boston completed all nine of their clear attempts
• Gianna DeSimone caused a pair of turnovers and scooped a ground ball on defense
