Against Saint Elizabeth University, Jensen notched a career-high 26 points on 9-10 shooting. Last week, Merchant tallied back-to-back career highs on the glass with 12 vs Connecticut College and 15 against Saint Elizabeth University. Junior guard Tatiannah Fevry (Dracut, Mass.) is the primary perimeter stopper with highly active hands, allowing her to average a Little East Conference fourth-best 2.6 SPG. First-year Ashleigh Lagor (Millbury, Mass.) has also made her presence felt since her arrival, averaging 7.8 PPG in five games. Junior captain Beeban Jikiemi-Pearson (BJP) (London, Eng.), along with Jensen, are the primary floor spacers, with BJP shooting 4-10 (40%) and Jensen shooting 3-9 (33%) from downtown.
  • The Lasers are 2-3 to start the year, with their most recent matchup against Framingham State resulting in a 63-59 loss for Lasell. Their two wins this season came against Eastern Connecticut State (83-78) and Wellesley College (51-48). Their offense is a well-oiled machine that scores 75.4 PPG on 44% from the field and 35% from downtown. The Lasers have a trio of scorers averaging more than 10 PPG.
