HOW IT HAPPENED
For the second game in a row, the Beacons found themselves in an early hole. Hendrix jumped out to an early 3-0 lead through the first five minutes.

Luke Murphy opened scoring with an unassisted goal with less than eight minutes to play in the first. Both teams would go on to score two more goals in the quarter, giving the Warriors a 5-3 advantage going into the second.

The second quarter saw the Beacons explode for six goals including two from Greg Wolff and three from Gavin Admirand.

A Hendrix goal at the final horn of the half would make the score 9-6 in favor of the Beacons. The three-point lead would only grow for UMass as they scored six goals once again in the third. This time it was Michael Claflin's turn to net multiple goals, posting back-to-back scores for the Beacons.

The fourth quarter saw a comeback attempt from the Warriors, netting 4 four goals in the final frame. The attempt was not enough to match the Beacons, who scored 17 goals for the third time this season.
