PLYMOUTH, N.H. –
Bobby Joy (Harwich, Mass.) was the lone Beacon to finish in double-figures as men's basketball had a tough shooting day as Plymouth State University earned a 73-47 win over the Beacons Saturday afternoon at Foley Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Joy from the field was 3-for-8, while finishing the contest 5-for-5 from the line to earn 11 points.
Dante Rivera, led all scorers with 14 points, while Manny Alisandro and Kevin Henry combined for 25 points respectively.
The Beacons tough shooting day, allowed Plymouth State to lead early and never trail in Saturday's conference contest. Through the first half, UMB shot just 17% from the field and eight percent from 3-point range.
The Panthers also struggled, but managed to hold a 29-17 lead at the break. After the intermission, both teams started to build some momentum, but Plymouth State would maintain their lead on their way to the conference win.

- Plymouth State led 55-31 in rebounds
- 29 of the Beacons 47 points came from the bench as the starting line-up counted for just 18 points on the day
