DANBURY, Conn. – Three second half goals lifted 24
th ranked WestConn to a 3-0 Little East Conference win over women's soccer Saturday evening at The WAC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
WestConn broke the scoreless draw just three minutes into the second half, with Julia DePalma scoring her first goal of the season. Suzana Imetovski made it a two-goal affair in the 65
th minute, while the conference's leading scorer in Myah Croze capped-off the contest with her 23
rd goal of the year in the final minutes of regulation.
The two teams were evenly matched throughout Saturday's contest, with WestConn holding a slight 18-16 advantage in shots, (12-7 in shots on goal).
Maria Spylios (Leominster, Mass.) tallied nine saves, as she produced another strong performance in goal for UMB. Her WestConn counterpart, Karly Martin made seven stops to earn the shutout.
Senior midfielder
Allie Crawford (Kingston, Mass.) led the Beacons offense with three shots on goal, and five shots on the night.
