th minute was the only score of the afternoon as women's soccer ended their two-game skid with a 1-0 victory over Bridgewater State University Tuesday afternoon at Swenson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kelley's game-winner, which was the eighth goal of the season for the freshman, came off a short crossing pass from
Mary Jo Murphy (Worcester, Mass.). The Paxton native fired the crucial shot from the top of the 18. The ball glanced off the right post and into the back of the net.
The Bears' best chance came in the 51
st minute when Cassie Brown rang one off the post from the top of the 18.
UMass Boston pressured the Bears's defense throughout the rain-soaked affair. Tory Viola-Laughery made eight saves for Bridgewater State, while her UMB counterpart
Caroline Richards (Duxbury, Mass.) finished with two saves to earn the clean sheet.
