DANBURY, Conn. – A Fenton Bradley dunk with four seconds left in regulation, lifted the host Colonials of Western Connecticut State University to an 84-82 Little East Conference win over men's basketball Monday afternoon Feldman Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a Dasan Cinelli (Boston, Mass.) lay-up tied the game at 82-82, the Colonials would respond with Bradley's dunk to give the host Colonials two point advantage. The Beacons would take a timeout following the basket, but were unable to get a shot off before the time expired.
Despite the loss, the Beacons saw junior Michael Boyd (Malden, Mass.) make history as he broke the all-time single game assist record which had stood since 1983. Boyd handed out an impressive 18 assists, breaking the original mark at 15 set by Joe Smoot.
Boyd, now sits just three assists away from becoming the seventh player in program history to record 300 assists. His 153 assists this season now stand as third most in a single campaign, with Smoot holding the top two marks with 190 and 166 respectively.
Charles Mitchell (Boston, Mass.) led the Beacons with 25 on 9-of-15 shooting, which included seven 3-pointers. Cinelli dropped in 15 points, while Mark Munroe (Quincy, Mass.) registered his fourth-straight double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Nine of his 16 boards came on the offensive glass. He recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds in the second half alone.
