Box Score BOSTON, Mass. – A team-high 20 points by Seth Thomas led the conference leading Warriors of Eastern Connecticut State University to a 79-54 win over men's basketball Wednesday evening in the Clark Athletic Center Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Warriors controlled all aspects of Wednesday's contest as they look to claim their seventh Little East regular season title. Thomas' night consisted of 9-for-16 showing from the field, which included one 3-pointer. He also grabbed 10 rebounds to finish with game's only double-double.
Alex Sanchez (Salem, Mass.) was the lone Beacon to finish in double-figures as the junior guard accounted for 21 of the Beacons 54 points. The Salem native finished 8-for-15 from the field, with a pair of long range baskets. He was also 3-for-5 at the charity stripe.
Thomas did a majority of his work in the first half, as the Warriors held a comfortable lead over the Beacons throughout the final 13 minutes. The forward recorded 14 points in the opening half on 7-of-9 shooting and have five boards to help the Warriors to a 39-26 halftime advantage.
The second half was a mirror image of the first, with the Warriors controlling all facets of the conference match-up. Donny Craig scored all 10 of his points off the bench to close out the victory, as the Warriors shot 48.5% from the field as a team. On the night, ECSU shot over 51% from the field and over 42% from behind the arc.
Javaris Hill (Lynn, Mass.) had a solid night as the freshman finished with nine points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Despite the loss the Beacons still control their own destiny as they sit sixth in the conference standings with only two more weeks left in the regular season
- ECSU led the way on the glass with a 41-30 advantage on the night
