Box Score KEENE, N.H.—Keene State College raced out to a 15-point halftime lead and never looked back, to hand UMass Boston Men's Basketball a 69-52 loss Saturday afternoon in Little East Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Keene State raced out to an 8-0 lead and stretched their lead out to as many as 19, before a Quadry Allen (White Castle, La.) three-pointer at the first-half buzzer cut the deficit to 35-20 at the break.
Allen paced the Beacons with 16 points on 5-of-17 shooting and 4-of-8 shooting from distance. The senior guard has reached double-digits in four-straight games and 12 times in 19 games this season.
Sophomore
Maurice Magras (Medford, Mass.) was the only other Beacon in double-figures, as he finished with 15 points in 37 minutes of action. He knocked down 5-of-10 shot and 3-of-5 three-pointers.
Sam Freeman (Boston, Mass.) added six points and a team-high seven rebounds, while Iser Barnes (Boston, Mass.) led the Beacons off the bench with seven points, four rebounds and four assists.
Keene State was led by Matt Ozzella and Nate Howard who combined for 34 points and 21 rebounds. Both bigs finished with 17 points, while Howard added 13 rebounds and two blocks. Ty Nichols was the final Owl in double-figures, as he chipped in 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting.
UMass Boston couldn't overcome a slow shooting day, as they knocked down just 26.6 percent (17-of-64) of their shots and 30.4 percent (7-of-23) of their three-point attempts.
BY THE NUMBERS
- UMass Boston committed just seven turnovers in the loss and held Keene State to 4-of-18 (22.2 percent) shooting from distance.
- Keene State held a 50-32 edge in rebounds and a 17-7 lead in assists.
- With the win, Keene State College improved to 36-13 all-time against the Beacons. UMass Boston earned a 77-70 win in December to earn the season-split.
