Despite a strong effort by the UMass Boston women’s basketball team against the University of Maine at Fort Kent, Jordis Tautalatasi (Springfield, Mass.) was named this week’s Beacon of the Week following a career performance in Saturday’s matchup with the Bengals. The junior guard posted a career-high 17 points on 50 percent shooting (6-for-12), knocked down two three-pointers, dished out a team-high five assists, and added two steals in the contest.
