Men's hockey senior defenseman, Ryan Leonard (Duxbury, Mass.), scored two goals vs Elmira College (RV) over the weekend (Jan. 17-18), his first two of the season. Leonard scored one-of-two UMass Boston goals on Saturday, and also netted Friday's game winner from just in front of the neutral zone line with 1.4 seconds remaining in the game to give the Beacons' their sixth (fourth New England Hockey Conference) win of the season from the Edward T. Barry Rink. His game-winner on Friday was the Beacons' sixth game-winning goal of the season, and the fifth GW at the Edward T. Barry this season.Â
