Junior sprinter on the Beacons' women's track and field team, Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.), had her hand in 29 of the Beacons' 61 total points in their fifth-place finish on Saturday at the Reggie Payou Memorial Invitational in Waltham, MA. She scored 20 points individually, with 10 points through a first-place finish in the 60m dash highlighted by a new personal best of 7.76 seconds, which currently has her at 21st in NCAA Division III for the event. In the women's long jump, Garceau took first overall with a new personal best of 5.16 meters for another 10 points. Garceau was also the lead-leg in the women's 4x200m relay team that scored five points with a fourth place finish, and the anchor leg on the women's 4x400m relay that scored four points in a sixth place finish.Â
