Colleen Moriarty returns to the women’s basketball coaching staff at UMass Boston for her second season in 2015-16.

No stranger to UMass Boston or the Little East Conference, Moriarty comes to Boston after one of the distinguished careers in the history of UMass Dartmouth women’s basketball.  A 2013 graduate of UMass Dartmouth, Moriarty was a three-time team captain and is the only player in program history to be named the conference’s Player of the Year.

During her college career, Moriarty led the Corsairs to their best overall record in school history as a senior.  A 1,000 point career scorer, Moriarty was a multi-All-Little East Conference selection.  As a senior she was named a New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Northeast Region honoree and was chosen to play in the NEWBA Senior All-Star game. 

Amongst her many honors, she was also named a ECAC First Team All-Star and was named to the prestigious D3Hoops.com All-Northeast Region team.
