In response to the ongoing health and safety concerns, members of the Little East Conference have suspended fall sports competition. In addition, the New England Hockey Conference has suspended the 2020 non-conference and conference schedules until January 1, 2021.
Despite these changes for UMass Boston athletics this fall, the campus community recognizes the importance of athletics participation to its student-athletes.
Administrators and coaches have developed plans to engage student-athletes safely in small-group activity through in-person practices and instruction, strength and conditioning training, leadership training and team building activities.
We know that there are questions that need to be answered as we prepare to start the fall 2020 semester. UMass Boston athletics has compiled a list of questions and answers that we hope will help you throughout the 2020-21 academic year.
