2016 Put together the most dominant season for any Beacons’ pitcher in program history as a freshman … Recognized as the Little East Conference Pitcher of the Week on two occasions and the Rookie of the Week one time … Appeared in 29 games, with 27 appearances in the circle … Tied the program-record with her 27 appearances as a pitcher in a single-year … Made 24 starts in the circle … Set new single-season program records with her 166.2 innings pitched, five shutouts, 152 strikeouts and an opponent’s batting average of .253 … Finished the season 13-10 with a 2.35 earned run average … Ranks tied for first for wins in a single-season (13) and third with her 2.35 ERA … Posted the sixth-most complete games in a single-season with 21 … Allowed 160 hits and 56 earned runs, while walking 69 batters … Ended the year with the second-best single-season strikeout per seven inning ration in program history (6.38) … Went 0-for-6 in the batter’s box with one walk and one strikeout … Allowed three runs or fewer in 20 of 27 appearances … Held opponent’s to one earned run or fewer in more than half of her appearances (14 of 27) … Opened her career by pitching two perfect innings, with three strikeouts in a season-opening win over the US Coast Guard Academy … Allowed one earned run and struck out nine in her first collegiate start, a 1-0 eight-inning loss to MCLA on Opening Day… Picked up her first collegiate win March 13 against Ripon College, by scattering eight hits and one earned run in a 5-1 win … Hurled her first collegiate shutout March 16, by allowing just one hit in six innings against New England College … Extended her scoreless streak (no earned runs) to 27 innings on March 24, when she allowed just four hits and struck out seven in a shutout win over Bridgewater State University … Earned a win in her first-ever conference game, by striking out six and allowing three hits in a 1-0 shutout win over UMass Dartmouth on April 9 … Became the first pitcher in program history to defeat Eastern Connecticut State, when she allowed just three earned runs in a 8-4 win over the Warriors on April 10 … Set the program-record for shutouts in a single-season (four) on April 13 with a two-hit shutout of Eastern Nazarene College … Shattered the program-record for strikeouts with 15 strikeouts in a nine-inning 3-2 loss to the University of Southern Maine on April 21 … Extended the Beacons’ season by allowing just three hits and one run against defending LEC Champion Eastern Connecticut State in an LEC Tournament Elimination Game … Shutout number one seed and host Keene State College May 7, by allowing just four hits and four walks in a 1-0 LEC Tournament win.
