Boston, MA- The UMass Boston Baseball team (8-7) scored 20 runs on 13 hits against the Lasers of Lasell University (7-7) and won by a football score of 20-14.

Highlights

The Beacons' bats made a statement early in the game. Through the first 2 innings, the offense scored 10 runs on 7 hits. Freshman Ben Sherry hit a 2-run home run, which was his 2nd of the season.

The Lasers also brought their bats this afternoon, scoring 5 runs through the first 4 innings on 8 hits.
