Boston, Mass. (Jan. 21, 2026) — The UMass Boston men's basketball team knocked down 17 three-pointers on its way to an 88–65 victory over Vermont State University Castleton Wednesday night at the Clark Athletic Center.
Davon Sanders and Skyler Venezia led all scorers with 21 points apiece, combining for 42 of the Beacons' 88 points. Raphel Laurent added 18 points, while Cameron Perkins rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10.
UMass Boston showcased its depth throughout the contest, as 15 Beacons saw action. Nine different players scored, and 11 grabbed at least one rebound. Perkins paced the team on the glass with eight rebounds and shared the team lead in assists with Laurent, as both dished out five.
