For Zainab to compete at the ITA tournament against the best players in New England and some of the best players in the country was a great opportunity to represent UMass Boston and UMass Boston tennis at a high level. I am proud of the hard work that she has put in"Â

Zainab reflects on her experience at the tournament:
"Playing the ITA's was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere on the courts was intense and loud in a good way. Everybody was cheering and having fun. All the players were amazing and super talented. I played against a player who had a really unique game, lots of variety that you don't usually see in women's tennis, and I enjoyed playing her. It was an amazing opportunity for me to go out there and play my game, and I definitely learned a lot."
