Keene, N.H. (Sept. 27, 2025) — The UMass Boston men's soccer team struck early but couldn't hold on, settling for a 1-1 draw after Keene State netted the equalizer in the 86th minute of Saturday's Little East Conference matchup.
John Arruda put the Beacons on the board just over 11 minutes into the match, scoring his team- and conference-leading sixth goal of the season.
UMass Boston outshot the Owls with 10 shots in each half, applying consistent pressure throughout and forcing Keene into making eight saves.
Freshman goalkeeper Nolan McKenna finished with four saves in net, bringing his season totals to 23 saves, a .793 save percentage, and a 1.19 goals-against average.
