Krupinski Scores Game-Winner in OT

New Haven, CT (Feb. 14, 2025) --- Michael Krupinski scored the overtime game-winning goal to lift the Beacons over the Falcons of Albertus Magnus by a score of 3-2 Friday night.

How it Happened

The Falcons were the first to strike just minutes into the game, but the Beacons wouldn't allow the home team to feel comfortable, converting one of their own before the end of the first period. Jacob Roberson, assisted by Jakob Teply and Ryan Leonard, scored his third goal of the season to bring the score even at one.

Jack Mortson, assisted by Tyler Drummond and Evan Googins would give the Beacons their first lead of the game, but it would be short lived as Tim Manning tied it up just over two minutes later.

No one would be able to find the back of the net in the third with Tyler Bost making eight saves in the third frame and Chace Hale stopping all ten Beacons chances.

Overtime wouldn't last long for the Beacons when Michael Krupinski, assisted by Mortson and Jude Kurtas, scored the game winning goal, his third of the season and second in as many games.
