Newton, Mass. (Nov. 5, 2025) — In their final non-conference tune-up before the last conference matchup of the regular season, the Beacons fell to the No. 6 ranked team in the region, Lasell University, 3–0.
Lasell opened the match strong, taking the first set 25–10. UMass Boston responded in the second, pushing the Lasers to extra points in a tightly contested frame that featured 13 ties and six lead changes before ultimately falling 31–29. The Beacons continued to battle in the third set but couldn't close the gap, dropping the final set 25–16 in a hard-fought effort.
Mya Perron led the Beacons with eight kills, while Addie Blomgren added five. Blomgren also recorded five blocks at the net (one solo, four assists), finishing as the team's points leader with nine total.
