HENNIKER, N.H. (November 15, 2025) – Competing in a loaded field of the region's top NCAA Division III distance runners, seniors Shea Roche (Weymouth, Mass.) and Jacqueline Earner (Abington, Mass.) closed out the 2025 cross country season with strong performances at the NCAA East Regional Championship. Roche capped her collegiate XC career by earning United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors after finishing inside the top 35.

Roche led the Beacons with a 35th-place finish in a field of more than 200 runners, covering the 6K course in 22:43.7. Earner followed with a time of 25:24.7, as both veterans represented UMass Boston among the region's best.

UMass Boston opens its indoor track & field season on Sunday, December 7, at the TRACK at New Balance for the Beacon Season Opener.
