Middletown, CT (Jan. 3, 2025) --- Veronika Hadamovsky shined in net making a new career high 46 saves against the Cardinals of Wesleyan University Friday afternoon, but the Beacons were unable to come away with the non-conference road win. 

Hadamovsky was kept busy, not allowing a goal until the 45th shot on net when Effie Tournas, assisted by Isabelle Allieri gave the Cardinals the 1-0 lead and subsequent win.  

Emily Hansen led the Beacons with shots on net with 3 total on the day, split across all three periods. Mia Boyd made her return to the ice known, blocking 5 shots for the Beacons. Katie Wilbert drew even on the faceoff circle going 9-9 to lead UMass Boston.
