Northfield, VT (Jan. 11, 2025) --- The UMass Boston Beacons were the first and last to score but left Kreitzberg Arena with a 2-3 loss to the Cadets Friday night. 

How it Happened 

Senior captain Kolye Bankauskas got the scoring started less than 90 seconds into the game, assisted by Evan Googins and Jazz Krivtsov. The Cadets would level the score in the first off the stick of Anthony Domina. The second period saw the Cadets take their first lead of the game shorthanded with only 16 seconds left in the frame. With the Beacons' netminder pulled, Norwich tacked on one more at the 19-minute mark, but Bankauskas wasn't finished as he scored his second goal of the game and sixth of the season in the final second of the game. In net, Tyler Bost tied his season high with 41 saves.
