North Dartmouth, MA (Sep. 28, 2024) --- UMass Boston defeated the Corsairs of UMass Dartmouth 8-1 to remain a perfect 3-0 in LEC play. 

Doubles 

The Number 1 doubles pairing of Lydia Chan and Zainab Patel were perfect in their 8-0 win over Maddie Gonzalez and Emma Collings. Elena Albano and Ayonna Stuppard saw similar success with their 8-1 win over Zuri Walters and Saige Croce in Number 2 doubles. The Beacons would then drop the 3rd Doubles match 4-8.  

Singles 

After falling in doubles, Tatiana Malone and Shreya Saravana Rakshana came out victorious in singles helping to give the Beacs the clean sweep. Malone defeated Croce in the 5th spot 6-0, 6-1. In the 6th spot Saravana Rakshana took down Kayli Langan 6-1, 6-3.

The Beacons travel to Dudley, Maine to play Nichols College in non-conference action Monday, September 30th at 3:30pm.
