Boston, MA (Sep. 25, 2024) --- The Beacons of UMass Boston fell to the Sharks of Simmons College in non-conference action Wednesday, 6-1. 

Doubles 

The pairing of Lydia Chan and Tatiana Malone in Number 1 Doubles brought the Beacons their lone overall victory when they took down Masha Shutts and Emilie LaPointe 6-3. 

Singles 

In singles Tatiana Malone and Kaya Rutkowski forced a 3rd match against their opponents but were unable to get the wins. 

Next Up 

The Beacons go back to LEC play on Saturday when they travel to UMass Dartmouth for a 12pm contest.
