Boston, MA (Sep. 23, 2024) --- Women's tennis returns to action after an 11 day break due to the postponement of their match at Salem State, but before then they will be hosting LEC opponent Vermont State University Castleton on Tuesday followed by a trip to Simmons University on Wednesday. 

Beacons 

• Originally scheduled for Saturday, September 21st, the Beacons will have their makeup game vs Salem State on October 10th at 3:30pm in Salem, MA. 

• Beacons are 1-0 in Little East Conference play 

• Voted as unanimous favorites to repeat as LEC Women's Tennis Champions in the LEC Coaches' Preseason Poll. 

Vermont State University Castleton 

• 2-5 Overall Record, 0-3 in LEC Play 

• Dropped LEC games to UMass Dartmouth, Rhode Island College, and Western Connecticut State 

• Predicted to finish 8th in LEC Coaches' Preseason Poll 

Simmons University 

• 3-4 Overall Record, 1-2 in GNAC Play 

• Predicted to finish 4th in GNAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll
