NEWPORT, R.I (September 16, 2024) – The Beacons' women's soccer team and the Roger Williams Hawks were stalemated at 0-0 for 70 minutes until the Hawks pulled away with a late game-winner.

How it Happened
- The Hawks' defense stepped up to match the Beacons' offensive intensity, as they held UMass Boston to just one shot in the first half. Through the first 70 minutes, neither team was able to break the 0-0 stalemate until Roger Williams forward Mya D'Antonio was able to put one past the Beacons defense to come away with the late game-winner, handing the Beacons their first loss of the 2024 season.
