Boston, MA (Sep. 12, 2024) -- UMass Boston women's tennis travels to New Haven, Connecticut Friday to take on Albertus Magnus College. 

The Beacs are on a winning streak defeating Plymouth State 7-2 and Curry College 6-1. In Number 1 Doubles, Zainab Patel and Lydia Chan are nearly perfect dropping just one game through those two matches as a team. In singles, Patel has had identical success dropping just one game in her two matches in Number 1 Singles. 

The Albertus Magnus Falcons have yet to see their first team win of the season starting 0-4 on the season and 0-1 at home. As individuals, JuJu Oliver, Osiana Brown, and Julianna Sigut were able to take their singles matches over Sarah Lawrence on the 6th, but ultimately fell 4-3 as a team.
