WELLESLEY, MA (September 11, 2024) – The UMass Boston women's soccer team remains unbeaten following a 1-1 draw against the Wellesley College Blues from Wellesley, MA on Wednesday evening.

How It Happened
The Beacons opened scoring early on in the contest, just four minutes into play, when first-year midfielder
Lucinda Cotter (North Easton, Mass.) found twine on a solo breakaway with a cool, calm, and collected right foot strike to slot home the Beacons' only goal of the day.
The Blues would spend the rest of the game clawing out of the hole the Beacons put them in. With time expiring, the Blues would find gold with a feed from standout first-year Isabella Tolosa to find sophomore Solveig Unteroberdoerster to even the scoring with just under ten minutes remaining.
