Geneva, NY (Nov. 16, 2024) --- The number 1 ranked Statesmen of Hobart College had used a second period offensive explosion to take down the Beacons of UMass Boston on Saturday in NEHC action.
Tanner Daniels scored the first of the game on the power play to put the Statesmen up 1 going into the 2nd. Hobart then rattled off 4 more in the second to take the 5-0 lead, but the Beacons went on their own run to start the 3rd with goals coming from Kolye Bankauskas (assisted by Chris Repmann and Jazz Krivtsov) and Jack Mortson (assisted by Jakob Teply and Evan Googins). Tyler Bost made 36 saves through 2 periods and Sal Carabelli made 17 saves in the third period. For Hobart, Mavrick Goyer made 22 saves – 12 of which came in the 2nd period.
