BOSTON, Mass. - UMass Boston Women's Soccer got a fast start on Saturday and never looked back, cruising to a 2-0 victory over Elmira College, their first shutout victory of the season.

Elmira College (3-5-1, 0-1 E8)
HOW IT HAPPENED
It took all of two minutes for the UMass Boston offense to strike on Saturday morning.
Andrea Rivera became the team's leading goal scorer when she put the ball in the back of the net for the fourth time this season. The second minute score beat out
Kaylee Haynes' goal in the fourth minute against Coast Guard for the fastest of the season for the Beacons.
The UMass Boston faithful would have to wait only a bit longer for the second goal of the game. The 20th minute saw
Callia Eaton control the rebound off of an Elmira save before netting her second goal of the season to extend the lead to 2-0.
With the offense controlling the ball for much of the game and the defense keeping the Eagles away from the net,
Isabella O'Connell needed just one save, an impressive diving stop late in the second half, to maintain her first clean sheet of the year.
