Rhode Island College, who has lost just one game in conference play, came out firing early. The Anchorwomen set the tone with a 19-5 first quarter, a lead that would only grow throughout the rest of the game.

While their offensive output was not what they were hoping for, the Beacons continued their strong defensive play. Junior forward
Alexah Potter led all players with three blocks. Sophomore forward
Sunny Green recorded seven steals, of which only one other player had more than one. Freshman guard
Tatiannah Fevry led the way for the Beacons with nine total rebounds.
