MIDDLEBURY, V.T. - UMass Boston Women's Ice Hockey took on the number five ranked team in the country in Middlebury College on Saturday. The Beacons came away winless, falling by a final score of 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A UMass Boston penalty in the opening minutes of the game set the Panthers up with a golden opportunity to take an early lead.
Leah Bosch stood tall in goal for nearly the full two minutes, saving three shots before finally letting in the opening score. Middlebury would tack on four total goals in the first frame to take a 4-0 lead.
After letting up the fifth goal of the night just 21 seconds into the second period, Bosch locked in for her best of the three frames. She made 22 of her 44 saves in the middle frame to hold the Panthers to one goal.
Middlebury put the puck in the net twice more in the third period to close out the 7-0 defeat of the Beacons.
