Box Score BOSTON, Mass. - UMass Boston Women's Tennis has made quick work of Little East Conference opponents this season and Wednesday afternoon was no different. The Beacons swept visiting University of Southern Maine for their fifth straight victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was a familiar sight to kick things off on Wednesday as
Elena Albano and Ayonne Stuppard swept their counterparts from Southern Maine to improve to a perfect 6-0 in doubles matches on the season.
Shreya Saravana Rakshana and
Kaya-Lilliana Rutkowski wrapped up their match 8-2 to improve to 2-0 on the day. The doubles sweep was secured by
Lydia Chan and
Meagan Carney who took their match 8-4.
In the singles portion of the match, four different players, Saravana Rakshana, Albano, Carney, and Stuppard, took down their respective opponents while allowing just one point each. Chan used a 10-2 victory in a tiebreaking third set to join her teammates in the winners circle. The ninth and final point of the match was secured by Rutkowski who swept her opponent 8-0.
