SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - UMass Boston Women's Hockey engaged in a defensive battle with Western New England University on Saturday afternoon. Neither team was able to put the puck past the opposing goalie, eventually ending the game in a scoreless draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Both teams peppered the net with shots during regulation, but both goalies stood their ground throughout. UMass Boston's
Leah Bosch and Western New England's Rieley Jessie-Gerelli each recorded 33 saves in their 65 minutes in net.
The Beacons ripped off six shots in the five minute overtime period, but could not crack the defense of the Bears. The scoreless extra period ended the game in a scoreless tie.
