PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Plymouth State hit a combined .301 to hand volleyball a 3-0 Little East Conference Thursday evening at Foley Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beacons played a tight first set with their longtime LEC rivals, and nearly took the opening frame. The Panthers managed to claw past the Beacons down the stretch to take a slim 25-21 victory. The late rally momentum carried into the second set as the Panthers jumped to a 2-0 lead with a 25-16 win. They then took the match with a 25-10 win in the third.
Lillie Stogner carried the Panthers to their second-straight conference win after scoring 13 kills. She along with Ryley McNeeley both hit .400 or better, with McNeeley going 7-for-15 without an error against her.
For the Beacons
McKayla Geraghty and
Livia Trindade each put down five kills.
Amelia Devlin finished with 11 assists, and
Ally Dean posted 10 digs.
