Box Score WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The 2022 men's tennis season came to a close in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament as they were handed a 5-0 loss by Washington and Lee University Friday afternoon on the campus of Williams College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beacons, who posted the third-most wins in program history, faced a tough challenge in the Generals.
Washington and Lee grabbed a 3-0 lead early in the match as they swept doubles play.
Nandish Shah and
Pierre-Alexandre Fumat played a tough match at first flight, but were edged by Eli Hirshberg and Will Kistler in the form of an 8-6 decision.
Alexander Comerchero and
Rudraksh Trivedi were handed and 8-3 loss at second flight, while Rezka Yuspi and
David Malone dropped an 8-0 decision at third flight.
Evan Erb picked-up the Generals fourth point of the match as he registered a 6-0, 6-1 at first flight over
Miguel Beltran. The final point of the contest came at fourth flight as Hirshberg grabbed a 6-0, 6-3 win over Comerchero.
