BEVERLY, Mass. – A five-run seventh inning proved to be the deciding frame as 25
th ranked Endicott College downed baseball for the second time in a week with a 12-8 win Sunday afternoon at North Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Even at 6-6, the Gulls plated five runs in the seventh and added one more in the eighth to seal the non-conference victory. The Beacons were only able to plate a run in the eighth and ninth innings respectively as they looked to rally against their nationally-ranked foe.
Endicott scored their first six-runs in the first two innings, all off of starter
Jackson Snider. The Beacons took their first and only lead in the top of the second when they scored three runs to make it 3-2. Endicott put-up four-runs in the bottom of the same inning to regain control of the scoreboard.
In the fifth the Beacons offense came to life scoring three times to tie the score at six-all.
Thomas Cue led the offense with a 3-for-5 day with an RBI and two runs scored.
Craig Corliss also went 3-for-5 with two runs scored as well.
Nico Kydes posted a 2-for-3 day with an RBI, a run scored, and a walk.
Keenan Metrick was handed the loss after allowing five runs, one earned, on five hits through four innings of work.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Sunday's contest marked the first time that UMass Boston and Endicott have faced each other twice in the regular season
- It also marks the first win-streak for the Gulls over the Beacons since winning eight straight to start the series back in 2009
