BOSTON, Mass. - UMass Boston Men's Basketball used sharp shooting from every spot on the floor to topple Eastern Nazarene College at home on Saturday afternoon, 84-57, improving to 5-1 in their last six games, and avenging their last-second loss to the Lions from last season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beacons' first lead of the afternoon came with just under 11 minutes to play in the first half. After trailing 15-9, UMass Boston went on a 21-0 run before the Lions would score another basket with 7:16 remaining in the opening half and head into halftime locker room up 39-30.
Starting the second half, UMass Boston would go on a 21-7 run, opening up a 23-point advantage with 13:36 remaining in the game and never looking back.
Senior forward
Malik Lorquet, continued his hot start to the season, recording his seventh double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 20 points and adding 13 rebounds.
Right on the heels of Lorquet was sophomore guard
Emanuel Zayas, who continued his hot streak from beyond the arc, splashing five three-pointers on nine attempts on his way to an 18 point afternoon.
Lorquet and Zayas each scored a dozen points in the second half, helping UMass Boston stretch their nine-point halftime lead to a 27-point final margin of victory.
UMass Boston finished the game shooting 50.8% from the field, 47.8% from the perimeter, and 61.1% from the free throw line in their 84-57 victory.
The Beacons distributed the ball well on the way to their 84-point showing, dishing out a season-best 20 assists. Four of the five starters for the Beacons posted double-digit scoring on Saturday.
