Just two minutes later, freshman midfielder Callia Eaton knotted the game back up at one when Hallinan hit her with a pass on the left side of the field. The freshman midfielder sliced the ball into the right side of the net, past the diving senior goalkeeper Maya Benedict.

The Beacons continued to pepper Benedict with first half shots, tallying up 17 in total and nine on net before sophomore midfielder Olivia De Sousa netted her first collegiate goal with two seconds to go in the first half. De Sousa received a cross pass from the end line by junior forward Sarah Kelley and fired it pass Benedict on the left side to make it 2-1 heading into the break.

Rhode Island College would come out aggressive in the second half, threatening to net the equalizer by the UMass Boston defense kept them at bay while continuing to try and extend the lead in the match.

The Anchorwoman would eventually break through and tie the match in the 72nd minute when sophomore forward Gabrielle McGowan slipped the ball past senior goalkeeper Maria Spylios in net to make it a 2-2 game.
